' 4 Major Caleb Cole To the Class of 1956 May I add the congratulations of the ROTC De- |)artment to those of the many other faculty mem- bers and friends of the Class of ' 56 for a job well done. You, as a class, have had more changes in your military life here at Kamehameha thrust upon you than any other recent class. For no two consecu- tive years have you been able to follow a pattern set in previous years. Your ability to adjust quickly and successfully has been well demon- strated by the manner in which you have so ably directed and guided the cadet battalion through this year ' s expanded and difficult program. I hope sincerely that we in the ROTC Department have been instrumental in some small degree in molding you into better citizens and leaders of your Terri- tory and your proud race. It is with deep regret that I personally say fare- well to you and Kamehameha. My three years here with you will always remain in my memory as one of the most interesting and pleasant tours of my Army career.
