Most Teachers Enjoy James McBride — because everything is returning to life including students and teachers. Mrs. Martha Wurth — because of the reawakening of nature and the promise that all creation seems to hold for Ken Pothast — because I dislike cold weather and spring signifies the end of winter. Since I am an outdoor person, spring gives me the chance to start working outside. Sister Marian Miller — because I like to watch things grow and to hear the birds sing. I like to watch the sun rise and set on a beautiful Spring day. Things just seem to come to life when the weather warms up for a few days. One can make a garden, go fishing, or just set and enjoy the beauties of God's nature. Robert Gerdeman — be- William Bixler — because cause of looking forward to everything is green and fresh, new things. Robert Gerdeman received his B.S. and M.S. from the Univ. of Dayton. He teaches Biology, Chemistry, Adv. Biology and Driver's Education. He is the senior class advisor, the reserve boys' basketball coach and the cross country coach. William Bixler received his B.S. from B.G.S.U. He teaches General Business, Accounting I and II, Economics and Personal Typing. He is the reserve girls' basketball coach and the reserve baseball coach. James McBride received his B.S. from B.G.S.U. He teaches Health, Phys. Education, World History, and English on the Job. He is asst, boys' basketball coach, varsity baseball coach and sophomore class advisor. Mrs. Martha Wurth received her B.A. from Mary Mance College. She teaches Algebra I, Senior Review Math, General Math and Business Math. Ken Pothast received his B.S. from Findlay College. He teaches Phys. Science, Health, Sophomore English and Driver's Education. He is also the freshman basketball coach. Sister Marian Miller received her B.S. in education from Athenaeum of Ohio, a M.S.Ed. from Xavier University and a M.S.L.S. from Spalding College. Winter Duane Ruhe received a B.A. from Bluffton College and a M.S. from the Univ. of Dayton. He teaches Jr. High Art, Art I, II, Art History and Adv. Art. He is also the director for the musical. James Wilson received a B.S. and M.Ed. from B.G.S.U. He teaches Group Guidance, Psychology and is our guidance counselor. Duane Ruhe — because I like James Wilson — because I get snow and the spirit of the a vacation, season and because we are almost out for two weeks. 7

Spring James O'Rear — because Robert Gasser — because the things begin to look fresh, return to the outdoors and clean, and new. the feeling of life. James O'Rear received a B.S. from Purdue University. He teaches Industrial Arts, I, II, III, IV, along with Basic Woodworking. Robert Gasser received his B.S. from B.G.S.U. and his M.S. from the University of Dayton. He teaches Government, American History, and Sociology. He is also Student Council Advisor. Miss Sandra Coressel received her B.A. from the University of Dayton. She teaches Junior and Senior English, Spanish, and Journalism. Thomas Gettman received his B.S. in Agriculture from O.S.U. and his M.S. in Guidance from Saint Francis College. He leads the Vo-Ag and Ag-Business program and is FFA advisor. Mrs. Beth Myers received her B.A. and B.S. from Miami University. She teaches all classes in the Learning Disabilities program. She is also the advisor for the band's color guard. Mrs. Tamara Schroeder received her B.S. in Home Economics from O.S.U. She teaches Home Ec. I, Non-Major Home Ec., and Child Development. She is also FHA advisor. Miss Sandra Coressel — be- Thomas Gettman — because cause I hate snow. Spring it's the start of something, means that the snow is over for another year. It is warm out, but not hot. Mrs. Beth Myers — because it is a time of beginning and ending. The end of school is in sight. A time of birth and new growth. A time of awakening after the dreary days of winter. Mrs. Tamara Schroeder — because of the new life we can see blossoms before our eyes. All the flowers and trees come to life and make such a beautiful world to see. What a refreshing thing spring is after a long winter. 9
