Giving Kalani a good name throughout the community and recognizing the students of Kalani were the duties of this com- mittee. A Blood Drive held on January 29th to help out the 'Future Donors' program from the Bloodbank of Hawaii and an Awards Night was held in the school cafeteria to recognize students for their services and achievements. Assembly This spirited group planned a number of entertaining assem- blies throughout the year. The football pep-rallies along with homecoming week brought the school alive with a lot of class competition games and spirit challenges. Recognition assem- blies gave the outstanding achievers the recognition they de- served. Once again the assembly committee worked well to put together a fun school year. . I page 139 4
