Audio Visual This year's A-V team consisted of Ruben Nakagawa, Bryan Kiyota, and David Kupihea. Their jobs in- cluded running the sound system for the assemblies, to video taping basketball games and seminars. These three also played a major role during Homecoming. did a great job!! They Social Comm. The KAS Social Committee is re- sponsible for planning school activities throughout the year, some of the events included the Homecoming cruise, winter- ball and other fun activities. Making these worthwhile events tum out, took a lot of hard work and dedi- cation. Interschool In only its second year, the interschool Committee had a fabulous year of exciting school exchanges. The sucess was due to an amazing turnout of over 50 students. These students took part in visitations to Punahou, St. Louis, Kaimuki, Kalaheo, McKinley and Iolani. They were able to experience the different atmosheres of these various schools and got to meet many new friends. It is assured that the Committeetwill be experien- cing another great year of excitement. Publicity The KAS Publicity Committee, chaired by Susan Nakashima and Tammie Omoto, had a creative and joyous year. Signs, posters and bulletins were made for activities such as Home- coming, Winterball, fundraising, proms and sports events.
