Ot er projects included cleaning up at the Scholarship Dance and Senior picnic and working with the Volunteers Service Bureau. Made up of 24 juniors, Sen- iors and Sophomores, the Sabres is a Hi-Y Club. joint dances with Roosevelt, McKinley and St. Andrew's Priory constituted their so- cial portion of their activities. To finance their social activities and year- end banquet in june, the Sabres glutted the snack consumer market on the campus with Iso peanuts.

CLUB 59 Their many community service projects in- cluded Christmas caroling at various hospitals and making Christmas and Easter baskets for children at Leahi Hospital. A banquet for the members and their guest was held in june. Twenty-five senior girls from Kaimuki make up the membership of Club 59. Socials, moon- light picnics, and hobo hops with boys from McKinley, Farrington and Roosevelt kept the girls busy throughout the year.
