LES LARETTES To grow as a person in friendship with people of all races is the purpose of the Les Larettes. This Y-Teen Club successfully carried out many worth-while services and projects such as: the Litterbug Campaign, helping the Volunteer Placement Bureau and the Slipper Drive for the Territorial Hospital. Socials, skating parties, camps, conferences and picnics headlined their activities. An independent club, the Bobbettes, are composed of Junior girls from McKinley and Kaimuki. Participating in the Toys for Tots campaign and donating leis for Memorial Day were some of the services they contributed to the school and community. Selling seeds, pretzels and shoyu peanuts were their money making projects for the year. By having socials with clubs from Far- rington, McKinley, and Iolani, the Bobbettes were able to promote Christian Fellowship and unity among students of different schools.
