TENNIS In their first year of competition in the Inter- scholastic Tennis League, the Kaimuki racket team came through in fine form. Since the bulk of the squad was made up of underclassmen, the Bulldogs, this year, com- peted in the junior division of the tennis league. Our four new tennis courts were in use con- stantly as team members practiced their strokes under the watchful eyes of Coach Kay Fossum. The boys' team won 2 out of 5 school matches against University High School, 3-25 McKinley High, 4-1. The girls' team edged out Roosevelt, 3-2, but lropped the remaining four school matches. All but two players will be returnees on the tennis squad next year and this, plus the fact that we will be having four more courts in use should make for bright prospects in next year's tournaments.
