Captained by George Clark and Collins Ogawa, the Bulldog track team under Coach Herbert Imanaka had a number of outstanding play- ers. Standouts were: Sprints, Clifford Ching, Clarence Chun Hoon, 440, George Clark, Allen Hasegawa, Distance, David Rodrigues, Collins Oga- wa, Ronald Sasaki, Leighton Raynorg High jump, Antonio Gonzales, Pole vault, Rodney Morrisg Broad jump, Clarence Chun Hoon, Shot put, Manuel Soares, George Kahaleumig Hurdles, Ernest Keuma. A new record was established by Ernest Keuma in the 180 hurdles in the Public Schools Meet. SWIMMING Kaimuki got back into the swim this year Conch after a full five years' absence from the Swim- ming league. Under the expert coaching of Harry Mami- zuka, the team had a gratifyingly successful year in spite of operating under several handicaps. Since Kaimuki has no pool, the team journey- ed to the Natatorium and to the Palama Settle- ment pool for their practice sessions.
