GOLF Kaimuki tallied up a score of 5 wins and 2 losses in the Inter scholastic Golf Tournaments and ended the season in a tie for second place. Under the watchful eyes of Coach Guy Goodness, the Bull- dog golfers came through in fine form. Kealoha Soares, spear- heading the golfer, toted up a score of 17W points. Outstanding players other than Kealoha, who are champion- ship material, are Walter Tomomitsu, Melvin Uyeda, and Henry Salazar. ROWING The Kaimuki Scullers won 1 and lost 4 this year. They beat Farrington in a Dual Meet but dropped all other four meets, ending in last position on team standings. Outstanding rowers on this year's team were Robert Asam, Ralph Nelson, Charles Nolan, and Louis Montayre. They practiced faithfully on the Ala l ' Ewa , 'sd' ','m,,x. ,a.Le-:MH s X ,MQ Wai canal every day after school and though they had a poor season, the William Napeahi spirit was there. SWIMMING Kaimuki got back into the swim this year Conch after a full five years' absence from the Swim- ming league. Under the expert coaching of Harry Mami- zuka, the team had a gratifyingly successful year in spite of operating under several handicaps. Since Kaimuki has no pool, the team journey- ed to the Natatorium and to the Palama Settle- ment pool for their practice sessions.
