JUNIOR BASEBALL ': - be 3 t '1- .,,,.. ,,4', t Allen Kidoguchi Coach With a squad of very inexperienced but eager, boys, the Kaimuki jayvees tackled a nine game schedule with optimism. This being the first year that ninth graders were allowed to partici- pate in junior varsity athletics, Kaimuki used five freshmen on their lineup. Each played beyond the expectation of the coaching staff, and this alone makes the outlook for next season very promising. With six games played up to press time, the jayvees compiled a 2-4 record. Three of the losses suffered were one- run setbacks to Punahou, 510-95 Farring- ton, fl-Oj and Maryknoll, C3-25. lst row: Stanley Miyamura, Allen Shimabukuro, Ronald Matsumura, Allen Otsu. Georfre Ta kamiya. 2nd row: Clarence Hayashi, Wayne Luke, james Kamiya, Glenn Anui. Halford Liu Robert Yamanaga. 3rd row: Miles Aoki, Ralph Yamasaki, Edwin Awakuni, Michael Tang Donald Koga, Melvin Fujii, Melvin Morita, Missing: Rodney Yamamoto.
