We End in T119 or Thimf lace THIS 0NE'S MINE-Ernest Keuma receives pass from Lloyd Goto and races away for touch- down in Kaimuki-Tiger game. The loss put Kaimuki in tie for third place. KAIMUKI 12, McKlNLEY 22. Kaimuki wearing new green and gold uniforms for the first time this year was edged by the Mc- Kinley Tigers, 22-12. The Kaimuki loss put Iolani automatically in second place and Kai- muki and McKinley in a tie for third place. Kaimuki's first touchdown was a pass by Lloyd Goto connecting with Ernest Keuma on a 54-yard pass-and-run down the sideline. Kaimuki threatened McKinley's lead in the fourth quarter when Norman Lau grabbed a leflected Kiesel pass for eleven yards and six points, ending the game at 22-12. KAIMUKI 0, MCKINLEY 30. Kaimuki, unable to work its offense, was defeated by McKinley, 30-0, in the first game of the Thanksgiving Day double-header. Coach Ima- naka used next year's varsity returnees and the Junior Varsity boys in this exhibition game to give the boys experience. The boys who moved up from the J. V. to play in the Tur- key game were Manley Anderson, Edwin Awakuni, Charles Pimental, Manley Maeda, Sam Peters, Stephen Yoshihara, Earl Gandall, Milton Sakamoto, William Fuller, Manuel Soares, Clifford Young, and Manuel Mattos. 9

They lead us tirelessly The song and cheerleaders livened the pep rallies and cheering sections this year with a host ol' brand new routines. They even tried a hula hoop routine. Tireless, they led the Bull- dog cheering section whether the team was lead- ing or trailing. Our cheering section was the best in the League only because our song and cheer leaders enthusiastically led the way with the help and guidance of adviser Miss Kay Fossum.
