OCTOBER l-We took over the education of the volored vhildren of Kahoka. 26-The 'class gave the beautiful elassic-al play, A Dream of Queen Esther. I-to-Tlie class enjoyed a sevond luncheon in the form of a soup feed. Our guests we-re those who helped to make our play a sum-ess. . NOVEMBER 13-XV4' devided tot loan the Glee Club money to finanvo their play The Gypsy Rover. XVe o1'ds-1'e1l the Missouri School Journal and dec-ided to purvliase a clock for tho rooui. 29-We entertained our paronts by giving them a Thanksgiving dinner and a program in the study hall. DECEMBER lo-NYe bought a set of maps for the Aineria-an history 1-lass, ordered Tho Elementary School Journal, and bought varbon paper for the sa-bool. . 20fCi1l'iStlllZlS tree for the colored vhildren. 20-A Kid Party, with the Teaclier-'1'raining alumni as our guests, was onjoyed greatly. JANUARY .1--Seniors finshed study of 1llSyl'll0l0gy. S to 12-Seniors 'did p1'avtiu- tuaehing in rural schools. A spueial 4-lass was organized in arithmetic. 11-We had Teac-her-Training pivture taken for year book. 15-Seniors began teaehing grannnar to Juniors. Seniors took up study of physiology. 27-We gave a il0'llllft'0llS feast to the grade fQIlt'il0l'S. We also gave a nmsival program. FE RR I 'AR Y 12--We began a study of sm-hool lll2lll2lgl'l1ll'llt and administration. 13-Class enjoyed an Uld Time Uonc-ert Party, also gave the niennbers of tho Svhool Board and their wives a George Washington Banquet. 23!We prepared a writing display from the grades for the National Superintendent in Cloveland, Ohio. Zli-Juniors began study of geography. MARCH 1'2-Senior play was given in which all Senior T0ilt'llt-'I'-T111illillg' people took part. 2-A representative of Uwe-n's Publishing Conipany came to sevure subscribers for Tho Normal instructor. Several responded. 5-Mr. Adams gave tot the 1-lass an interesting account of his travels in Australia. ti-Had Teavher-Training magazines bound. H-Seniors made model sm-liool houses out of eardboard and derorated them. 19f.luniors started on imaginary trip through Europe. 23-XVe gave debate on. Corporal Pll1liSill.l1l5lli,.'Y 1215-Sn-niors began teaching of ::eog.fraphy to .Iuniors in sps-vial prepared assignments. APRIL -1-Mara-h and April housekeepers served their luncheon togotlier, with Miss Ellen Stats ger as their guest. MAY 1-2-Teacher-Training exaininations wero given. 34Se-niors began teaching of masterpieces in art in grades. U-Class gave final party. RLANUHE MAGGART AND FREDA STIITZ.
