The Girls Tennis Team The girls tennis team played hard and finished the 1981 year with second place in the Western League. The team also did well in CIF competition. The team's leading doubles pairs were Laurene Walker and Julie Walker, and Robin Munson and Clara Dixon. Both pairs made the All-Central League First Team and Laurene Walker and Julie Walker made it all the way to League Finals. The team voted the Most Valuable Player award to Rochelle Colton. Gina Bandie received the Most Improved Player award and Sherri Sutton received the Most Dedicated Player award. These girls along with the rest of the team worked hard for a good season.
