' ll alentme The band Departure was able to keep the crowd moving with their variety of songs. To Kool, Gica Fernandez, Greg Martin, Rich Ohara, and Lisa Freddie, dance their hearts out. Sweetheart couples pose for pictures. Sweethearts romance while they dance. Who's with who? Sweethearts return to their seats after a heart pumping dance. The 1982 Sweethearts Ball was a heart warming event. The evening began with memorable pic- tures of dear ones. The evening continued with dinner, and dancing to the sound of Departure. The evening conclud- ed with the crowning of King, Andy Magserelli, and Queen Sherry Reiss. 4 Dr. Dean, the famous hypnotist, came to Serra High on the evening of February 25. Serra stu- dents came willingly to be put under Dr. Dean's powers. Dr. Dean has been performing at Serra for the past 5 years, his hypnotic powers are entertaining as well as a learning experience. Dr. Dean puts students under embarrassing and fun- ny situations, but he also proves that hypnoses can be used positively. It was a very successful performance.
