Serra's Steppers: Stepping Up For Serra The Serra Steppers were very highly recognized although they were only in their third year as a group. They performed well and smoothly executed dance routines. That type of percision took practice and guidance. The guidance was supplied by Team Advisor Faith Whitehurst and team colonel Shelly Caughey while the practice was supplied by the Steppers themselves everyday at sixth period after school. The Serra Steppers have participated in many different events from the Tierrasanta-Murphy Canyon Parade to the Disneyland Music Festival and the Mother Goose Parade. .. Business Management: Skills For ow And Beyond Serra's Student Store known as Q's Corner, was the lunch time and afterschool snack bar for Serra's sweet tooth. The store is open from 11:30 to 12:05 every school day and from 2:05 to 3:00 after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Besides the staff of the Student Store the business management section of Serra was involved in the Decca Club. Decca was a business club where students were involved in the many aspects of a successful business. The teacher-adviser of Decca and the supervisor of the Student Store was Mrs. Katoka. , 1 1497 .
