Sliding Home, Q's Missed Plate Keep your eye on the ball , Choke up on your bat , were just some of the phrases varsity Coach Tom Cassie called out to his team during a game. Although the varisty team did not do as good as hoped for, the team did try to do their very best. Proof of this was that the team practiced every- day for two and a half hours. Part of the problem was just that the other teams in the league were more experienced and Serra was not. Towards the end of the season the varsity team was doing much better. Coach Cassie was experimenting with different line ups and near the end of the season they were working. Rick Goulet, Chris Rodgers and Frank Spaniol were just a few of the many members that made out standing contributions to the team. The whole team tried hard and have high hopes for next years season. Teamwork and practice will be the key ingredients for the success of the team next year. ' ' Us 1 SELELQA C' QSO!!! ll ll IM T QM ll I ll l lei 1 A f any .ui ,A Q ll Baseball 69
