Field Hockey Swung IntoAction With only two players who previously knew how to play the first season for the girls field hockey team was mainly a leaming experience. Coach Kris Mallory helped the girls with the game as she gave them pointers and tips. The team did surprisingly well, however, as they competed with other schools in the district. When talking to the it 1 player, Linda West an unusual incident was revealed. One game the team was one player short so Laura Howland dressed out and participated in the game so that the team would not have to forfeit. Amazingly, Laura did score points but sadly the team did not win. Fun and teamwork helped the girls field hockey as they worked together and reached their goal. 1.
