For the first time in J-D's history, each class was allowed to decorate a hallway. When students walked into the school the first day of spirit week, they were greeted with streamers, posters, lights, and painted walls. A dress code was assigned to each day of the week; people were apt to see anything from a hippy to crazy hats. Seniors proved victorious in their yell- ing ability and game strategy. Unfortu- nately, Juneau’s weather did not co- operate with the students’ plans; the traditional float parade and snake dance were cancelled due to the rain. The real celebration began Friday night when the J-D Basketball Bears showed their spirit by conquering the Wrangle Wolves both Friday and Sat- urday night. Wow!
