Administration adopts new ideas for 73-74 school year Commencing the 1973-74 school year with an arena registration was one of the new ideas the administration adapted for J-D High. The method replaced the computerized system used in previous years. Most Juniors and Seniors appeared to be satisfied with the new registration. Sophomores, registering last, had difficulties finding open classes, but most of their problems were soon resolved. Another innovation of J-D High was the computerized grade card. Superseding the triplicate cards, this single card recorded grades, teacher comments and attendance. New curriculum ideas introducted this year included the two hour block-class, the office skill lab and math-science lab. For the most part the administration took on the same responsibilities as last term with the exception of the Vice- Principal. Mr. Newell became the Athletic Director.
