In Memoriam And Dedication MR. MYRON D. SAUGSTAD God made man to love, to care, to trust, to believe, to teach, and to respect his fellow man. One of these men was Mr. Saugstad. He was a man who loved and cared for his people no matter who they were; boys he coached, students he taught, teachers he worked with, or friends he worked and lived with. His faith in the ability of others was his greatest asset. He firmly believed that when given a chance, a person can succeed; and he fought to give each one he knew that chance. He respected those he knew whether he agreed with them or not and because of this he received, in return, the respect he rightly deserved. As a teacher at Juneau High School for 12 years, it is with humble gratitude and appreciation of his dedicated work to further our education that the Jay Staff, and more particularly the Juneau High School student body, wishes to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Myron Saugstad.
