 , vl ( J-WHD- $ CLASS OF i Not all of a student's education comes from classwork or homework; he learns in- valuable lessons in how to get along with others through extracurricular activities. Preceding classes of Juneau High students have worked hard to create the many ac- tivities which we all enjoy. We will always remember the ball games, the pep rallies, Homecomings, proms, assemblies, dances, and other activities. They entertained us, and also enabled our clubs to carry out projects which benefit our school and commu- nity.

On September 1, 1967, sixty stu- dents walked through the doors of JHS to begin their Junior year. As soon as possible, class rings were selected and Juniors awaited anx- iously for their arrival. A feeling of pride came when they received a first place rating in both the float and window competition for Home- coming. It will be remembered always as a highlight of their Junior year. Participating in a magazine cam- paign and sponsoring a carnival to raise money for their biggest and final event of their year, The Junior-Senior Prom, highlighted the year's activity. 27
