MtSTOft y 1 . 4%l September 8, 1937 wag a happy day for Juneau High, for that date mark ed the entrance of the Illustrious group of stu- dents now leaving as the Class of 1942. Our class has produced ex oep tlonal athletes, outstanding scholars and distin- guished speakers. We added to the musical field with our versatile musicians in band and glee club. All in all, we have been a most intellectual and decisive group. We have truly set the pace for all futur e classes. We entered as the mighty leaving as the mightier 41. 54; we are Our Junior class play set a new stan- dard for dramatic entertainment, we being the first class in the known history of Juneau High to present a Junior play. Next came the Prom and that definitely established our reputation for doing the best. irn ■ i 533 Just let us Join with the citi- zens of Juneau to pay tribute to the to the glorious regime of the Class of 1942. May the spirit of its un- dying devotion to truth and d u ty serve as an Inspiration to the youth throughout the length and breadth of this great nation. f n
