Though our town may change with the eroding of the river banks, once we set the course. We reflected the changing times in out dress and conversation. The energy crunch allowed fewer of us to drive to school. Slit skirts and rolled up jeans revived the fashion looks of the '40s and '50s. Worry over a serious world situation and the threat of a recession crept into our minds. The presidential race produced jokes and debates among us, while some, old enough to vote, spent extra time evaluating the many candidates.
