Lynn Spivey (Physical Education, Related Math Ul) B.S., Southwest Texas Danny Stovall (Physical Education and 6th Grade Social Studies) B.S., Tarleton State A veteran at JHS. T. A. Chandler has been teaching math for 17 years. This year he sponsored the Math Club and was a sponsor for the Junior Class. Completing her first year at JHS, Debra Deaton (lower right) started right at the top by being one of the Senior Class sponsors. Originally from Ozona, she was also Girls Basket- ball coach. Hugh Doyal finished his 13th year at JHS by spending his summer teaching Driver's Education. This year he was spon- sor of the Student Council and Coordinator for the Adult Con- tinuing Education Program. He also served as Head of the Student Activities Committee of the Self-Study Program. A native of Doss, Ronald Faught was a Senior Class sponsor and coached Boys Track. Another Senior Class sponsor this year was Donald Good- win, who came to the Hill country from the Houston area. Originally from Brownwood, Louis Hillyard helped sponsor the Sophomore Class and coached Basketball. In terms of seniority. Jack Hoggett takes one of the top prizes. His 24 years’ experience at JHS led to his selection as Interim Principal. In addition to his unexpected administrative duties, he continued teaching 7th and 8th Grade Math and was an 8th Grade Class sponsor. Completig his second year, Lynn Spivey (lower left) was Athletic Director, Head Football coach and an 8th Grade Class sponsor. Both he and his wife. Nita (who also spent a great deal of time in the High School in many different capacities), came to Junction from Fredericksburg. Danny Stovall (lower left) coached Football, Tennis, Golf and J.V. Basketball.
