DEDICATION Mrs. Dude McCloud, better known around Junction as “Miz Mac”, re- tired after 11 years of devoted time teaching journalism and sponsoring the annual. Each of the years she was at Junction, the Eagle’s Eye has received state UIL awards in excel- lence. After retiring from JHS, “Miz Mac” filans to continue her hobbies of ree lance writing and fishing. The staff of the Golden Eagle dedi- cates this edition to Mrs. Dude Mc- Cloud. MRS. IN MEMORIUM r- 1 K Coach C. E. “Nubbin” Booth, a member of the Junction School System since 1962, died April 23, 1974, of an apparent heart attack. The 54-year-old coach played pro football with the Chicago Cardinals in the forties. When he retired from playing pro-ball, Coach Booth joined many schools as a teacher of sports before coming to Junction. Services for C. E. Booth were held at the football stadium. Family, friends, stu- dents and out-of-town colleagues filled the stadium to hear the farewell service. C. E. Booth Bom 1920; Died 1974 in Junction. 4
