CHARLES O. CHAMPION Superintendent Dedicated to his important role as superintendent of Junction High School, Charles O. Champion is a man of character, devoted to prin- ciple. He is a capable executive, and an outstanding counselor. Those who know him regard him as a man of direction; one who knows his goals, and the goals of the institution he serves. In only the one brief year that he has been here. Junction High School has profited by the strength of his programming. His association with the community in organizations and with in- dividuals has helped the school and Junction to become a working unit for the main objective.. .education for all. Supt. Champion attended Southwest Texas State Teachers Col- lege where he received his bachelor of science and master of arts de- grees.

As an administrator and teacher, Principal Sherman T. Rimes has accomplished much in the 17 years he has served Junction High School--12 years as principal and four years as teacher. With a background of experience in every phase of the educa- tional processes from class-room teacher and athletic coach--he has been a helpful and encouraging advisor. Lending assistance in spon- soring the Student Council and coaching tennis are only a few of the tasks performed by this diligent man. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Daniel Baker Uni- versity and his master’s from Southwest Texas State Teachers College. SHERMAN T. RIMES Principal
