We Dedicate A stranger to us only in his arrival at Junction High School three years ago, Mr. Engman began his ad- ministration as the new man with many new rules. Through these years the student body has learned to re- spect his high ideals and infinite patience. A student can walk into his office any time of day and be wel- comed with a smile and a cheery word that always prove to be an inspiration. He is loved by the student body for his guidance and never-ending friendship. Even though his duties as administrator are many,he has proven to be a wise counselor, providing students with a new light to see the pathway of the future in edu- cation. May a rocket of the future continue to carry love and friendship of his kind to the hearts and minds of students in the new frontier. It is for his past guidance and for the leadership which he now provides Junction High School that we, the Golden Eagle Staff, respectfully dedicate the 1961 edition of this book to our superintendent, Mr. Dave Engman.
