Dear Students: This yearbook is a reminder of the things that happened during the school year 1960 - 61. Some will remember it as a failure. Regardless of how one remembers a year, it becomes a year of education in successes and failures. Best of good forture to everyone for a more successful year in the future.

Superintendent JUNCTION PUBLIC SCHOOLS J. D. Engman B. A.; M.A. Dear students and friends, all: This past school year has been, I think, outstanding in progress toward higher standards of scholarship for our entire school system. You students are to be commended for the manner in which you have hit the books. I know each of you realizes the highly competitive society you are going into, and under- stands what an education can mean in terms of better living standards. Our present world asks you to grow up perhaps too quickly, and I consider it a high com- pliment to your collective character and intelligence that you have grasped and have ac- cepted these stern realities and have met your personal education obligations with cour- age, resourcefulness and good humor. By so doing, you have set the pattern for future stu- dents to emulate, a condition which will mean much to JHS in the years ahead. Sincerely, J. D. Engman
