In the music field we participated in A Cappella Choir, Band, Orchestra, and Glee Club. The BLUE JAY staff turned out our school paper under the sponsorship of Mrs. Knowles. Miss Torgeson led the POW WOW staff in edit- ing the year book. Various members of the senior class participated in the Debate Club under the leadership of Mr. Teply. Fern Jahnke had the honor of being the D.A.R. representative. Beverly Neddo and David Lee reigned as the royal J0al'1I'16 Oliver Shirley Ann Orr couple for the King and Queen of Hearts dance.
