Outstanding in the field of sports were Robert Klotz, John Westfall, Jim Bennett, Jim Mowry, Herbert Clark, Darrel Burnes, Dan Spencer, Bill Warner, jack jameson, Courtney Clark, Bob Hammond, and George Fellman. Bob Connell was also the football and basketball manager. The students of ICHS were given sunshine treatment on November 20, as the junior class actors romped through a merry story of misunderstand- ing, gayety, pathos, excitement, and an abundance of other qualities when they presented a three-act comedy, The Sunshine Twins . Because of the acting ability which many juniors possess, they were again called upon to display their talents in the all-school play, Love Thy Neighbor . In the field of music, both vocal and instrumental we find the industrious juniors again giving their best eagerly to the A Cappella, the band, orchestra, ensembles, special groups and also several who were in the Yuletide Festival and Say It With Music as soloists. The juniors, having foreseen the difficulty of securing class rings, and also desiring to wear them throughout their entire senior year, chose a com- mittee of two representatives from each home room to investigate the matter and if possible choose a design. The committee - Ramon Eller, Helen Maduros, jim Bennett, Helen Marie Steele, John Westfall, Robert Klotz, Janice Moses, Keith More, Doris Baresel, Courtney Clark, and Bob Shaidnagle- met on March 12 to consider what can be done. The junior-Senior Prom was, as all faculty members and seniors will agree, unsurpassed in entertainment, decorations, and refreshments, and pro- vided a very enjoyable evening for all. The junior class was led GJ through its many activities and accomplish- ments by President Bob Shaidnagle, Vice-president Courtney Clark, and Sec- retary-Treasurer Helen Maduros, Although the class has many able leaders, they could not have attained their goals without the able sponsorship and guidance of Mrs. Mauck and Miss Bignall and the other home room teachers. Members of the junior class participated not only in their class affairs, but also found time to render their services as members and officers of the various organizations including J Club, FFA, Pep Club, KAYettes, KAY, Latin Club, Spanish Club, GAA, Student Council, Visual Education, Library Staff, Scholarship Teams, and Ushers Club.
