VALLIE SMITH. General. Basketball, Operetta, Bulbul, Glee Club 1911-12. A faithful worker in the class and in- terested in all student activities. BESSIE YVIEST. Normal. Junior Play. Bessie says she's going to be a school marm, but we fear that awful habit of giggling of hers will have to be broken before she can be a model for her admir- ing pupils to follow. JOHN P. BECKLEY. General. Senior Play, Bulbul, Glee Club. John sustained quite a startling repu- tation for a while, but after the Senior Play came off, in which he made such a lzit as the sober and industrious 'd1'i2frs, everyone was convinced that l.e has been IT1iSjLlilf '9d and was at heart quite a harmless lad. .XDELAIDE KING. Operetta, Bullu1l, Junior Play, Senior Play, Vice President Senior Class, Blue and White Staff. What would the class ever have done if lUStI.8Y' had not conlescended to join them and lead them in the proper way a class should go? She is a hustler in every sense of the word. GEORGE A. RATHERT. George has the honor of being one of the few boys in the class of 1912: has been leading man in both plays, and in iact, has been in the public eye so much lately that we fear it will go to his head if it continues much longer. HFLEN E. CAMPBELL. Normal. Junior Play, Basketball, Operetta, Bulbul, Glee Club 1911-12. She conducts herself in a manner quite befitting her vocation-the school marm.
