1 Front: Aphrodite Economos, Mr. Rothman, Dorothy De Lrzuro ll'rcsidentj. Back: Mildred Grill, Margarel M1u'Dorml1l. feat moles we Wave Qfaye Curtain going up .... The stage is alive with action. There are girls of all descriptions-naive and sophisticated, timid and conlident. Mlho is the little lass with that bewildered look? She is wandering through the Co-op building with a poster in her hand, looking for the art department oHice .... She's running for Freshman Delegate. Notice that taller girl who seems so self-possessed. She has been at Julia Richman for a year and she has a feeling of belonging. She is a member of the Service Squad and an oflicer in her section. Then there's a girl getting ready for the junior dance. It takes her hours to dress. And how proud she is of her first nylons .... Maybe a good-looking Stuyvesant boy will take her home! There is also a student poring over her books while the clock ticks on. How many times has her mother called in, Aren't you ever coming to bed? The reply is, In a minute, Mother, but the candle continues to burn .... She will have no worries when it is time for Regents. In the center of the stage is a young lady in a blue and white Senior hat, admiring her new Julia Richman ring. Her head is whirling with thoughts of the Prom and graduation. Of course you recognize these girls: they are ourselves. How many varied roles we have played! Now we go on to a new role in life, with a heart Filled with hope. The curtain falls.
