AW' .ff f .1 ' ' E .V mf fl Hi K f 86 Dedication ni The value of Miss Lois Warner for the Judson Community is measured less by her many years of service than by the Christian commitment she has consistently brought to her calling: the position of Registrar. Faithful in small things, she has first devoted herself to creating efficient registration procedures and ac- curate record keeping designed to reduce the frustration level of her clients. She personally reviews all im- portant documents issued by her office and is able to retrieve information about past and present students, often within a few minutes. Yet, students and faculty members who have had business in her office know that her service is never mechanically performed, but as a ministry. The person who seeks her assistance becomes, for the time he is with her, the focus of her personal concern. Soft-spoken, not critical of others, unfailingly courteous and patient, she treats each one who enters her office as a child of God: one who has worth and thus deserves her interest. Her gentleness of manner and warm sympathy for those who need her help do not, however, undermine her firmness of purpose in maintaining college academic standards: both are facets of her Christian vocation to serve God and His people effectively and whole-heartedly in the position to which He had called her. It is to Miss Lois Warner this 1982 Lantern is dedicated. Dedication I 87 V lg 1, fffa Xinwbf 7'b w gage, 2 mf., , ' ff wffwf .
