A nd It Snowedfor the Snow Queen Banquet! ,..,..Mf g A fx ff if if This year's Snow Queen Banquet was held at the Pheasent Run Lodge in St. Charles and was Well attended by stu- dents and faculty alike. John Heinz was the master of ceremonies and enter- tainment Was provided by jay Oliver, an illusionist who performed mental tricks. Highlights of the evening were when Dr. Ryder Won the campus Best Legs contest and the crowning of the 1974 Snow Queen, Sue Neely, shown here with her escort, Steve Sherhondy. After the Banquet, ChiRho returned to Judson to host a popular concert.

N0ye's Fludde - A Community Effort Noah and his family receive orders to build an ark. When Mrs. Noye didn't want to go, they just picked her up and carried her on. The winter opera was indeed a community effort as several neighboring churches lent their Voices and their children to tell the amusing Version of Noah and the Flood. Written by Ben- jamin Britten and taken from the Chester My- stery Cycle Cwritten about 17455 the opera puts the story to music. Children of the staff and faculty and the surrounding area became the birds and animals and Elgin musicians lent their talent for the Orchestra. And then the animals came on and on. . . 24
