The Division of Social Sciences includes the De- partments of Economics, Education, History and Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. The two-year sequence in history alternates between American and European areas. At present, the Department of Psychology is proposing courses which will equip the student with more adequate tools for self-analysis and fruitful social contacts. The Department of Education is also undergoing expansion on behalf of those who plan to work in the secular and religious fields. The objectives of The Division of Social Sci- ences are best summarized in the statement that all education should aim at equipping well-pre- pared future citizens for making a worthwhile life as well as a good living. Our Home Study plan offers to high school graduates anywhere a collegiate or theological study for only 25 dollars. These courses, 92 in all, include English, Bible, Science, Social Relations, History, Church, History, Missions, Systematic Theology, Philosophy, Psychology, Christian Education, Practical Theology, Evangelism, Music, Philosophy of Religion and New Testament Greek. Home Study is not newg it has matured, many stu- dents say it is superior to some classroom work. Each student does his own study and research. This work is not easy for everyone. But serious students find that home study discipline is valuable training.
