PROPHECY OF CLASS OF '54 David Combest won the Academy Award for his performance in the picture High Moon. Col. Ronald Prince broke the world's speed record for a let plane. Howell Melton gave his thirteenth concert at Carnegie Hall. Frank Armstrong is now manager of Safeway Stores, Inc. We see Mrs. Milton Powell, Mrs. Dick Nabozny, and Mrs. Douglas Powell are enioying keeping house. P If you are ever in Las Vegas visit Browning's Brass Nugget gambling hall. We saw our own playboy, Wade Kerr, at the Hollywood premier of High Moon, with his latest flame Marilyn Monroe!!l??? Multi-millionaire, Billy Skinner visited his old homestead. My how those liquor stores pay off. Myrtle Ann Gipson was seen walking down the street with a bathing suit in one hand and a fifth in the other. Our old friend Larry Don Richardson is doing fine at his new iob as head coach at Notre Dame. Nancy Tuttle has also found her way into the athletic field at UCLA. Sharon Jostedt may be seen in the new comedy You Kiss and l'll Tell. Joan Summers is now teaching The Tango in New York. lt takes two you know. Bobby Meadows, winner of the National Extempore Speaking Contest, was visiting old friends at Judson last week. Joe Seiber has iust returned to the U. S. from South America where he is head of Texaco Enterprises in the Southern Hemisphere. Ann Johnston has iust published her best seller The Parson and l. Joe Van Smitherman flew in from his Arizona ranch where he is raising registered white face cattle. . David Stewart and Joe Webb have lust been appointed head men on the Grand Ol' Oprey. James Whitehurst became sole owner of the Great Lakes. This was the fulfillment ofa life long ambition to own a large lake. Everett Schenck, the Wheat Baron, was nominated for governor of Nebraska in the primaries last week. The future holds for us many bright and colorful things Cwe hopel. The things mentioned above may seem silly to you but we felt that we should give you some idea of what may become of us in the future. This prophecy is only guess work so we advise you not to iudge any person by what you read above. We hope to have a very successful future and we shall strive to reach great heights in the future.
