CLASS POE Our high school days are completed and gone. Soon iobs and college upon us will dawn. Fellow Seniors, when you are lonely someday, Think of your classmates, friends in every way. Although Walt at times seems shy, We all realize he's a wonderful guy. His FFA work has been iust great, And with vocational school he has a date. Vicki is our pretty blonde. Of her, our class has grown quite fond. Whenever there was a Varsity game, She'd be cheering the team on to fame. Millie's our Panther editor. ln great debt we are to her. But she'll be remembered much more For her abilities on the school dance floor. Roy in athletics did excel, And outside school he did quite well. When we are in some faraway place, We'll always remember his smiling face. Now we come to that big, strong mass, Or the other half of the Senior Class . Big Bill's interests match his ambition, ln many an activity he's won recognition. Gary Davis, a Varsity player, Has always seemed to have a flare For saying things he wasn't taught, But Gary-he never got caught. Larry was our conference 'back. In football skills he has no lack. King of Prom and Homecoming too, He's a born leader through and through. The president of FFA is Bob. His record shows he did a good iob. But we'll remember him all the more For how he made that ol' Dodge soar. A studious person is Diane. She's also an avid literature fan. She'll be a iournalistg her mind is set. Swimming in Feldt's pond we'll never forget. Ron Feldt transcends in all sports. As for antics, he has all sorts. This Feldt has a nice pond too, But swimming in it is tabool Len ioined us in our Sophomore year. He is a hard worker, that is clear. He's been a friend to everyone And always willing to have fun. ln our .lunior year, Curt did portray A mighty wrestler in our great class play. But in sports, it's not an act. He's active in many things, that's a fact. Carol's our class' newest addition, She's an eager helper and deserves recognition. She pitched right in when she came Before we hardly knew her name. Pat's a busy Dairy Queen Reigning o'er the county Green. Though she works hard all the while She always manages to keep her smile. Russ is one of the .luda band. His achievements in it have been iust grand. A well-liked and fun-loving guy And one upon whom we can rely. A hard-working student is our Al. To everyone he has been a pal. From responsibility he doesn't flee. A great engineer he's destined to be. Kay's the politician of the class With the personality of an Irish lass. Perfection is her utmost goal. Attaining the presidency will be her role. .lacki'ls our bubbling red-headed gal. As first cornetist she did iust swell. If grades were based on happiness, She'd be the greatest scholar in the class. Bobette, for the team, works like mad. She gives her all, for which we're glad. ln forensics she won the State's highest honor. Our exuberant pep sessions are dependent upon her. Cherylon Prom Court did shine. We all agree, she looked iust fine. Roller skating is her special ability, And in phy-ed she has great agility. Cindy, member of the cheerleading team, Is a mighty Senior on the beam. As Queen she reigned at her very best Over Evening in Fantasyland and Golden Harvest . Ron Schmid is a Senior boy Full of mischief, fun, and ioy. Although tall he may never be, He'll rise to heights with his farming ability. One of the Prom Court in '64, We'll always remember that Senior Roar . She'll be a fair bride in the future near, And the class wishes her happiness sincere. Small but mighty is our Les. A great football player, let us stress. Along with his skill in the game, His friendliness in school has won him fame. Lyle was on Prom and Homecoming Courts. This Senior's well-known for hislability in sports He's very well-known in football and wrestling, And fame to Juda he helped to bring. Mike can really handle the wheel, Whether on semi, pick-up, or automobile. He's one Senior who's far from dense, Indeed he's endowed with common sense. Connie-she's the smallest of us all, But that doesn't stop her from having a ball. A willing, hard worker in the class' behalf, Yet only a member for a year and a half. Now we come to a Senior girl Who can handle a baton and make it twirl. Patsy twice held attendance on Royalty Court. Her get-up-and-go is hard to thwart. The Senior upon whom we now dwell ls known for playing her cornet well. Susan, not one to get in a furor, Can be counted on to do the iob for sure. Dick, the last Senior herein mentioned, Also in athletics has won much attention. In our country's service he's not the last, But the first to serve from our Senior Class. Keen and Keener are quite a pair. They wrote this poem-it isn't fair. But Forwardl Seniors of '65, We've got the power and the drive.
