In Eoing all this work Mr. Ingalsbe was our coun- selor and guide. This year rob, Russell, and Earl made the team in baseball, ard Russell also made the track team. Not long after school started last fall we chose Eileen president, Pauline vice-president, and Betty Marie, secretary-treasurer. Then came the task of finding color combinations, flowers, and a motto that the majority of the class would accept. Finally green and gold was decided upon with the violet as class flower. Our motto is: Our aim: Success, Our hope: To Win. At the beginning of the year Wayne Haas, Don Baugh, and Russell Davis started back to school, but they were dissatisfied so they quit, leaving only five boys in the class. As we were badly in need of money, we gave WA Full Housen for our senior play. This play, lacking the mystery and excitement of WTiger Houson, was not so well liked. In accordance with the other classes the sen- iors holped with the all high school party, held December 23rd. We furnished rolls and pop. This year Russell Crawford and Earl McDaniel made the first team in baseball, Bob Gates, Don Walker, and Russell in basket-ball, and Russell in track. Every year the D. A. R. gives a trip to Wash- ington U. C. to one girl from each state. Each high school can select a girl from the senior class for a chance on the trip. Forrest Elene McKown was chosen by our class this year.
