TEXAS Dear Students, Throughout the pages of this I960 edition of The Chief, Members of jour annual staff have admirably preserved for you a pictorial record of those events which have highlighted the passing of another school year. Regardless of any outstanding accomplishments which the school may have achieved during the past months, the sole criteria for Judging a successful year is the progress which you as individuals have made both academically and socially. If you and your teachers have succeeded in advancing your thoughts and activities along these lines, we may consider the year's work well done. It is my sincerest hope that each of you has made and will continue to make the most of that which has been given to you and will strive to take your place among the good citizens of tomorrow. Sincerely, Alonzo R. Harmon Superintendent
