Although the weather in the Pacific Northwest was bleak and cheerless, the open-handed hospitality of our neighbors to the north made these days memorable to the Yanks of JOUETT. 132

Although briefings concerning future operations in the Western Pacific were conducted at Pearl Hai bor, opportunity was provided for a glimpse of the famed beaches at Waikiki, the Arizona Memorial at Ford Island, and a tour of the Island of Oahu.
