CLASS PROPHECY Settlng World's Fair of 1958 Event Commemoration of the 125th anniversary of our fair and noble metropolis, Chicago The exhlbitions here presented cover every phase of both American and foreign culture While walking down the way, surprlsingly enough, we see a number of familar faces At the booth sponsored by Marshall Field and Co , ALICE GONKO, chief importer of antique glass ware, is preparing her display Talking to her we find that GLORIA ALITTO has the stars Two more of our former classmates, LORRAINE KENDZIOR in partnership with BERNADIN KSIAZEK, are the principal stockholders of Wieboldt Stores, Inc The exhibitions of the American Medical Association was represented by the four outstanding nurses of the year, ANN DUGO, VIOLA SKROBICKI, CATHERINE FISCHER, and MARJORIE ZWATSCHKA we have just come from the livestock show, where GENEVIEVE SZAJNECKI and her blue ribbon bull 'Farley' have walked away with all the honors Special mention was given to BERNADETTE SPECHT for growing the largest'carrots' in the United States Stopping along the way for some needed refreshments, we see DOLORES OSTROWSKI and PATRICIA WI TERS, who, from all appearances, between the two of them have taken the book 'Cheaper by the Dozen' seriously Passing through the travel exposition, we see that GISELE DUPIN, who through her harrowing experiences in Chicago, has reorganized the PTAfPar1s Transportation Authorityl The BkO's chief engineer, regardless of seniority, is MARILOU LALONGE Nearby, we see MARY PEDERSEN putting along in her 'Stanley' steamer This is a snail's pace compared to the jet propelled space ship piloted by ELAINE KELLEHER, with MARTHA SCHMIDT as head stewardess The tennis championship is at stake in the sports arena 'Marvelous' MARGIE STROHH and 'Daring' DOROTHY SURRATT are battling the contenders of Australia for the world tennis crown It offered us many additional thrills to see MAR! ELLEN MCGRATH as star of the Ice Capades The Chicago Cubs have won the world series of '56 and '57 due to the splen did pitching of OLIVIA ESPOSITO, and the gigantic encourag ment of Andy Pafko's personal bat girl, DOIORES MASTEY On e finally realised her life's ambition--sweeping cinders off

the home front, however, special mention should be given to ELAINE SCHULTZ as the inventor of the sunless bleacher seats in Wrigley Field The lake front provided an excellent op pcrtunity for MARY LOU SINCLAIR to demonstrate her swimmlng ability The baby sitting service of the Fair is conducted by BETTY ANN SESKO, who The American BETH HOLTHAUS, pequeno ninos offers cut rates to former classmates Teachers Association is represented by ELIZA who has devoted her life to instructing the ELAINE KURPIEWSKI has recently been ap pointed as head librarian of the Library of Congress. The tireless efforts of teachers ln the primary schools has been d mcnstrated by FRANCES DUNANAY, whose hair has turned com- pletely silver from teaching her angelic' children An in spiring lecture on 'How the Human Race Has Gone to the Dogs was given by the outstanding mission lecturer, JOANNE BARUD with illustrations by her traveling aide and companion, ANNA MARIE ZITELLA Some prominent personages attending the Fair are STEPHANIE HOFFMAN, the Secretary of the Treasury in Hashington, accom- panied by two of her life long friends, the President of the First National Bank, VIRGINIA YUCIUS and ARLENE LISAK, edi tor cf the Chicago Tribune The Ace Collector for the Dept of Internal Revenue, MARY PARIS, also is enjoying the Fair As we strolled further down drawn to a girl standing on a the theatre It proved tc be tor, SHIRLEY LEWANDOWSKI, who the midway, our attention was colorful soap box in front of none other than our great ora attempted to sell the crowd on the idea of MAGDALENE GAPINSKI's concert accordianists's school On the entering the theatre we find that JO BUTERA, JOANNE HASIX, and ARLENE GIBSON are thrilling the crowd with their unique style of yodellng As we followed the crowd, we see that MARY ANN KABELAS has been successful in her attempts to bring the Charleston back to American music In a room off the center of attraction, RITA DIMARIA is giving piano les sons to Al Morgan, while GENEVIEVE WASIK, Milton Berle's girl Friday, is copying down the jokes of passerbys Next on the agenda, we were enthralled by the vivid impersona tions of Sarah Bernhardt enacted by JERRY DAGH, while BAR BARA PLUCINSKI AND DOLORES NIEBUR did their version of the can can The full length dramatic production, 'Gracie Goes Dizzy' stars the distance we hear to played by the n passing the best seller 'Men famous commedienne, GRACE MATELSKI In the the melodious strains of the Hockey Concer famous piano virtuoss JOAN BROCKMEYER literary display we see that the famous Are My Hobby , written by Miss CONSTANCE . - e - e an ll ll . - 1 I , - il e - Q e e e - , Q e e e Q e - Q ' e e - e Q
