Partnership At a special P.T.A. meeting. members attending, learned of a partnership that Clark School has entered into with Liberty Bank and WYLD radio station, both black owned businesses. The highlight of the evening occurred when Judge Israel Au- gustine, accompanied by volun- teer workers from his court. showed the students present how they could get down. These young men and women, however, really got down, when they went on to prove that hard work brings results. They each described their back- grounds, similar to those of our student body and their present positions. They are all law stu- dents or practicing law.

lshangi Dancers Once again the lshangi danc- ers visited Clark. The student body was not only entertained. but had an opportunity to learn something of African culture. We learned of the respected place that woman hold among these people. We learned how the children are named by the father three days after birth, and that each part of the name holds special meaning. We learned of the various drums and their meaning in different ceremonies. Everyone was most impressed by the feelings of love and caring for each other exhibited by the groups. 'ho rx?
