Senior Beta Club The Senior Beta Club, directed by Gloria Martineau, is a committee which involves students with a high scholastic average. They meet occassionally to discuss plans for activities and benefits for the school. Student Council The 1984 Student Council has had a very busy year. The sponsor, Mr. Ruckman, has done a wonderful job in the organization of this group. They have been meeting on a weekly basis and have planned many fund raisers such as bake sales and car washes. The money raised probably will be put toward a spring prom dedicated to the Seniors. Hopefully these extremely talented individuals will have set an example for all the students. Members included—Kelly Webb, Janet Smith, Bobby Edmonds, Marie lllingsworth, Patti Rinert, Paul Rogers, Alan Levitz, and Randy Ash. 24

Epaulet Staff The 1984 Epaulet Staff began work on the annual this summer by attending a yearbook workshop at Converse College and by braving the heat to sell ads. Then it was on to the year with layouts, copy, croppers, cameras, and deadlines—all of which were enough to make these budding journalists wonder why anyone invented the school yearbook.
