Student spectators have also become student performers. Under the guidance of the Physical Education Program, each student has 'an opportunity to choose athletic activities ap- propriate to needs and interests: indoor games such as volleyball and basketball, folk dancing, and bowlingg outdoor activities such as archery, tennis, softball. Coaching staffs provide the very best supervision for vigorous contenders, who vie for varsity performance in football, basketball, baseball, track. Intramural play and interscholastic competitions supply the challenge and teamplay that foster excellent spirit and leadership. Through opportunities of the athletic program at Jordan, many students have found new confidence and valuable associations.
