Sophomore Pam Williams Heads JV Cheerleaders The JV Cheerleaders attended cheerleading camp at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill last sum- mer. They won ribbons in competition at the camp. The seven JV's sold doughnuts and programs to raise money for new gold uniforms they purchased. The JV's made spirit-buttons and victory hoops for all home games. They assisted the Varsity Cheerleaders during Homecoming, at pep rallies, and during basketball season. The JV's were led by chief Pam Williams. JV's Hkeep on keeping on. ! Sandy Harris, Mary Alice Flesch, Kelly Morgan and Tammy Strickland promote enthusiasm at JV games

David l The JV football team finished the season with an , impressive 8-1 record, the only loss being 14-6 to West Montgomery. This team opened the season with six straight wins and three of those wins were against 3A opponents. One of the most remarkable things about this team was the offensive balance. They gained almost as many yards passing as they did running. Also the first string defense gave up only six touchdowns in nine games.
