Representatives are Elaine Clark, Bill Hunter, Mike Renn, Larry Mendenhall, Carolyn Tanner, Phil Clark, Sandra Robinson, and Jay Richardson. Voice of the Students Election time is hectic as opponents endeavor to out-do each other in campaigns. Ron is posting some slogans which made his political career a success. Youth Appreciation Week is a project of the Op- timist C lub that pays tribute to the youth of our nation. A well-deserved ovation accompanied the recognition of Greg Brooks as Outstanding Youth. Another facet of this week is the election of an honora ry youth mayor and five commissioners. Mayor Dan Shelton and commissioners Ann Liles, Bill Hunter, David Powers, Dan Boger, and Steve Morris were interviewed on the radio and invited to attend an actual meeting of the town com- missioners.
