A Look Into The F uture The year . . . 1982, the place . . . Jordan Junior Highls boys gym, the event . . . 20th reunion of the class of 62. We discover that many of our friends have found success in life. RENEE HAMLIN has become well known as a sound effects woman for a leading motion picture company in Hollywood, DONNA DERBIS be- ing her publicity agent. ALAN MALLEY and BILL LEWIS, said to be the best comedy team since Laurel and Hardy, are also among the people making Holly- wood their home. MERRILLYN HARRIS is appearing at Disneyland as Tinkerbell in the play Peter Pan, while CHARLES HUBBARD and TOM FRASER are in a ventriloquist act now at Northrop Auditorium. You are currently able to see BOB SOPOCI on his own morning exercise show on television, with LARRY EVERSON doing the cbmmercials. TOM PETERSON and DENNIS STANGEL, meanwhile, have journeyed to the Everglades to shoot Walt Disneyls newest motion picture, iiAlley 00p? . We also have many experts from the field of sports. Our own RANDY J OHNSON has set many new swim- ming records, while HENRY HINRICHS is now the star basketball player of the Los Angeles Lakers. LEE FIELD arranged it so that he could be here on his tour for the American Bowling Congress. LLOYD MATSON has been busy organizing his own company. He has DUANE GRAVELY as his assistant, J IM LEADER as his oliicial errand boy, GAIL BEN- ZICK as his publicity agent, PATSY DRAVES as his treasurer, and LOLA FRIEDMAN as his loyal secre- tary. Now all he has to do is choose a product. The held of fashion seems to be very popular for this yearis class. PAT YOUNGDAHL and CAROLE ANDERSON are now designing sleepwalking wear for the women of today, while SHARON ZIMMERMAN is now in Paris, working on fashions fog tomorrow. MARY JO ANGEL and SUSAN ANDERSON are currently running a modeling school in New York, the quaint little metropolis that our class president, TOM ZOET, is now the mayor of. Music has become a profession for many of our for- mer classmates, also. You can look on many pieces of music these days and see BRAD THORSENiS name as its composer. The well-known Spanish dance act of PAT LUNDGREN, NANCY ARF, and MARILYN BEHLING is currently in Minneapolis. TIM FAIR and LINDA STEEN are now singing in a new version of the Mitch Miller show. Also in this musical crowd is the noted piano teacher, DARLENE EASTLUND Yes, things have changed and are continuing to change. PAT THURESON is a Miami Beach life guard, JUDY STEVENS, our great speller, is working on re- vising the American dictionary. LOWELL GILBERT- SON is exploring the supposedly unexplorable ocean floor. We are especially proud of MARK SCHUPMAN, who is now preparing to take a trip to Venus as an astronaut. All this has happened while CAROL SI- VERTSON remains at Jordan to teach the fundamen- tals of algebra. As we left Jordan behind in June of 1962, we never dreamed it possible to attain such great heights in the new frontier beyond J ordan Junior High.
