Jordan News became The Iordan Call and then later The Mizar, symbolizing the star pointing NORTH, for JORDAN sent its graduates to NORTH HIGH . . . no PATRICK HENRY until 1927. Keeping abreast of the times, JORDAN installed a PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM . added AUDIO VISUAL and TELEVISION . . . organized a STUDENT COUN- CIL to assist in solving school problems . . . added the NINTH GRADE COUNCIL to help plan finishing activities . . . 1957 sees the advent of The Iordanian, the yearbook.
