THEY HOED SWAY OVER THE ACTIONS OF THE ENTIRE STUDENT BODY GIRLS’ CLUB Katherine Makris reigns as president over the largest club in school—the Girls’ Club. It consists of every feminine Beet- digger registered. Joan Tuft is secretary, and Helen Thaxton is vice-president. J.A.G. sponsors the annual Junior Girls’ Christmas Party, the “Big Pal—Little Pal,” the Thanksgiving dance, and the Mothers’ and Daughters’ Night Out. Wanda Wade, Florence Webb, Ruth Bowers and Ruth Jensen are advisers. CHEER LEADERS Meet Jordan’s live wires, Irene Sorenson, Connie Atwood, and Jean Baird! These girls really “gave with the school spirit as they sent forth the sparks that electri- fied our boys on to victory, leaving the defending teams in a state of shock. HO VS’ CLUB The Boys’ Club, composed of every mascu- line member of Jordan High School, is represented bv its leaders, Junior McRey- noi.ds, president; Leon Webster, vice- president; Blaine Tempest, secretary. Jordan’s Associated Boys’ Club has led the fellows through a successful year. Its many activities include the Fathers' and Sons’ Smoker, and co-sponsorship with the Girls' Club of the Annual Thanksgiving Dance. Advisers are Mr. Casper and Mr. An- derson.
