Dr. C. N. Jensen Administration Chief The present global war and the kind of peace after war, hold large sway in the thinking of every youth now in school, at work, or in the armed forces of our nation. In the conflicting ideas and diversity of thought which confront everyone, it is necessary now more than ever that the democratic way of life be fully understood,' fully appreciated, and always kept in mind. What is held of most worth and most highly esteemed, is worth sacrificing for and dying for, if need be. Already many former Jordan High School stu- dents and some of your near classmates are at the battle front fighting for the ideals in which they be- lieve. They are true to the trust and the responsibili- ties demanded of American citizens.
